No insult meant; I don't know how an app distinguishes between one phone or another, so I don't know how optimizing a single app for a bigger screen doesn't hurt the users of the smaller screen phones. Again, no update specifically for iP5 that I'm aware of.
The change is simple to implement and it maintains compatibility with older iPhone/iPod Touch models.
