The F-150 is still available as an SVT Raptor. And they're responsible for some of the higher end mustangs I believe (the Shelby GT500 specifically). The Focus ST is also part of their work. Apparently they've somewhat merged with the Europe side's RS division to make a Performance Vehicle Group.
I have to admit, an SVT Fusion does seem like a nice car, although I'm not sure I'd want to see the price. Even the regular Fusion's can get a little pricey on the upper end for what's essentially their midsize car. (Course, that's also just a reflection of how cars in general have gotten more expensive.)
You're right, I completely forgot about the Raptor still being branded an SVT!
By the way, anyone see recent articles and photos/mockups of a Fusion Wagon?! It looks superb! Too bad Americans are not fond of wagons, as the Magnum, CTS Wagon, and TSX wagon sales show. I personally love the idea of crossover/SUV cargo capacity combined with sports car driving dynamics.
If I may take it one step further...an SVT Fusion Wagon would be quite intriguing...
This comes from a guy who always lusted after a Volvo V70R, so YMMV
