If TK are operating 6 daily flights, there is defiently place for LY to take it's share.
A substantial portion of TK's traffic is connecting via IST. I know several Israeli business professionals who exclusively fly TK now because the C fares are the cheapest, the hard product is pretty good, the connection is easy, and TK's membership in Star Alliance gives them unparalleled redemption opportunities.
Not sure if there is a place for LY in this market outside of the extremely low yielding tourist one.
