I got a SIM too but haven't used it. One of the curious features is that the SIM doesn't have a phone number printed on it. That means you don't know your number until you activate -- and also if you don't immediately write it down somewhere, you could forget it!

I know that it's stored on the SIM somewhere but I keep forgetting how to find that.
