I have an Amex Platinum Card and rely on the coverage it supplies for CDW and SLI when renting on personal travel. However, I now have an opportunity to use Hilton points to rent a car for a week while on vacation. The Hilton points, however, cover rental only, and not insurance options. Is there any way to reap the benefits of the Amex coverage when paying with points?
