Looks like I'll be heading out to Vancouver for the summer. No return date is fixed so a one way ticket looks like the way to go. Skyservice and Jetsgo seem to have the lowest fare ($246 with tax) followed by Tango and Westjet at around $50 more. Schedules for the first two are almost identical (earlier in the day, which is my preferance).
I haven't flown either of these carriers although had good experiences with Royal domestically - empty planes, friendly staff. It seems that Skyservice offers free movies and food on their Airbus aircraft which is a step above Jetsgo's MD80s. However, I've been moitoring that flight and see that it sometimes gets cancelled. What is Skyservice/Conquest's policy in case of cancellation? Any other observations or comments about these carriers on domestic routes?
PS no FF miles, but if I book Skyservice with exit.ca I get an astounding 7 Air Miles
