Could you be a bit more specific as to how confident you are in the 'apparently'? (as in, is it something you heard from BA itself or from several passengers, or for just one or two?) I don't mean that as a probing question at all, it's just that I am booked on quite a few of them and for the odd cases where I might ideally want to check a bag anyway (which will be few and far between) I'd really like to know if I should really try my hardest not to or book a bag at OLCI or if I can hope for that unofficial leniency.
