I'm a newbie, and have been doing some research and would like to review the information I have with the awesome vets here!

My question:
What is the best rewards program, points/miles-wise, for an economy-only trip from Los Angeles to Taiwan? This will influence the credit card that I apply for.

About me:
- My funds are limited and I am willing to fly economy/the cheapest possible.
- Again, my funds are limited so I have to be selective on the credit card (sign-up bonuses) I apply for. I'd like to apply to credit cards that reward me with points that can be applied to the best airline rewards program out there.

America Airline/OneWorld (Asia 2) 35,000 x 2 = 70,000 points
Cathay Pacific/OneWorld = 60,000 Asia Miles
Delta/Skyteam = 35,000 Low, 60,000 Medium, 80,000 High
ANA/Star Alliance = 30,000 Low, 35,000 Regular, 40,000 High
EVA/Star Alliance = 60,000 miles
Korean Air/Skyteam = 70,000 off, 105,000 peak
