I will be staying at the Renaissance Brussels over the summer. Unfortunately I have just learned that their lounge is closed throughout the summer (not enough business I guess as they do this every year). When I read the MR conditions, it says: “Outside the U.S. and Canada, you are entitled to continental breakfast 7 days a week. “. My understanding is that although the lounge is closed, I will get breakfast anyways but am still puzzled overall about the decision to close the lounge. Shouldn't the hotel also provide an alternative to the lounge service (outside breakfast that’s taken care of) since the closing is fully in their control?.

Has anyone have any experience with that? Any insight?
