I understand what you're saying. But - in Japan - especially in Tokyo - that may well mean "by invitation only" restaurants. Which people like me and my husband don't have access to (just like we'll never be able to play golf at Augusta).

What in particular do you think is inaccurate about "Michelin in Japan" (not saying you're wrong - just asking)? Robyn
