AWFUL CMH Location Strikes again - mileage restriction?!
We all know how horrible the CMH (Columbus OH) location can be. From their pitiful selection of cars in their emerald club/executive aisle, to their customer service which leaves a lot to be desired, it's ranked in my book as one of the worst National locations in the country. However - they've gone one step further now. All rentals have a maximum allowance of 200 miles per day!!! Anything over that is .19/mile. Now granted, Columbus isnt a large city, and this probably wont be a major concern for a lot of travellers...but if you're driving up to Cedar Point from CMH or travelling around the state, you can easily surpass this limit. The bigger point is, mileage is unlimited at almost all National locations but apparently this one, and there really is no need to limit it.
What makes CMH so special that it has to do this? It makes it appear as if this location is in one of those 3rd world countries that nickle and dimes you for everything. It'd be one thing if the cars were decent - but as they are not, and it just adds insult to injury.
National - fix this location! It's a stain on your business, and for this being Ohio's largest city, and one of the larger cities in the Midwest, it certainly isn't complimentary to your reputation. Until then - I'll be renting with other companies at CMH.
