Great review and pictures - hard to believe though how tight the space looks in a standard room. Nice that Hyatt expanded in NYC, but given the size of everything, and possible problems with only two elevators, this hotel seems to put more Grand into GH NYC than add much to the Hyatt brand.
Unfortunately this seems to be the case with new construction hotels here (aside from luxury properties), and not just with the McSam properties that usually fly select service flags. Take a look at the rooms at the relatively new Sheraton Brooklyn-- they are also extremely tight with space.
