So my question is is there anyway I can earn points and/or stay credit with me staying in the same room?
btw, it really sucks to know that Amex charged foregin transaction fee even if the transaction is for Hilton properties. Don't really understand why they would do that. It essentailly telling card holder, don't use Hilton Amex for any foregin Hilton properties. What kind of strategy is that?
If I cannot get the points from the stay and the points from the credit card, I probably would switch to Marriot (my wife has status there).
you can only get the credit on your hhonors account if you are the staying and paying party. This includes having the reservation in your name.
So, if the reservation is in your wife's name and being paid for by her company, you could not get the credit on your hhonors account.
If she has a corporate card and an hhonors account, she is the one entitled to earn points/credit.
