The other reason for this is that it opens up airport area real estate rrom single level rental places that could transition into multistory hotels or office buildings.
Bit silly observation as the major rental firms were on-site within the Sea-Tac garage (e.g. no shuttles required) and their ejection hardly creates new opportunities for hotels or office space within levels 2 and 3 of the garage.
