Short answer: no expiration.

Long answer: There's no expiration, but what you're talking about is a violation of Chase Ultimate Rewards Terms and Conditions. Unless your friend is your spouse or domestic partner. The system will let you do it, but this could be end badly for one or both of you. If your friend has the ink/csp and can transfer as well, it's marginally safer to transfer them straight to your FF account, but still technically a violation of T&C (I believe).
