Hi,

I am new to hotel elite status and have a question about if I can use my status on someone else's booking?

For example, if my friend and I are going to stay at a Marriott. This friend booked a room with his credit card and his name, can I put my Marriott rewards number into the reservation so we can get upgrades to a better room?
