Needing a TA to book a flight to visit a client in DFW mid month.
Flying GOT-LHR-DFW (usually).
I'll be flying back DFW-FRA-GOT, hence the mixed ticketing and operating itin.

Company policy forces me to travel Y (I know, please save the advice to find a new job).

I have many avios but not secure enough in my knowledge to use them to upgrade. Buying my upgrade at the airport is my only option as far as I can gather from the threads. Even if I was not booked by a TA, the fact I will be departing an outpost precludes upgrade possibility, correct?
