It was pretty awful. I hate to look an upgrade gift-horse in the seat, but I had a column deadline (coincidentally, on travel tech for international trips) and it was almost literally painful to finish it due to the contortions I had to go through to type on the laptop in 3D when 2D reclined.

It was one of the rare cases when an exit row aisle might have been a better choice.
