A few years ago we stayed at the Sheraton Nassau (Bahamas) and got a really nice ground floor room with a walk out patio including lounge chairs. You could walk right from your patio to the pool or beach. In looking online at the pictures of the Kona property, the ground floor rooms around the pool look like they may have the same feature? Can anyone confirm what you get with those ground floor rooms?
There were some ground floor rooms around the main pool that had patios. I didn't pay that much attention, but if I remember correctly, there were some shrubs bordering the patios, but it looked like people were able to get from the patio to the pool and vice versa.
