Not the shortest, but I once did JFK-BOS in the middle seat of the last row on a BA 747. Original flight was LHR-BOS but diverted to JFK due to a blizzard in Beantown. 8 1/2 hour delay due to WX. Not fun. Deplaned in BOS at like 2:30 AM.
