If you don't like it, just exercise your freedom to choose hotels of other brands. IC happens to be one of our preferred corporate brands and it suits me to put 120-130 of my nights with them. The rest I put with others and I know I'm not going to achieve top status with them (although it looks like I'll also achieve Hyatt Diamond this year). I simply believe that IHG is diluting the RA program by allowing other IHG nights to qualify. But it is what it is.
