I have not stayed at any Marriott properties, but Homewood Suites (which include free Dinner and drinks Mon-Thu) is my choice for extended stays because of the size of rooms, almost full size kitchen with stove, oven, full fridge, pots and pans and utensils, and better pool & exercise facilities. Even have grills out there you can use to grill if you like.

For me the biggest issue with extended travel is eating fat and salt in restaurants so a good kitchen really helps.
