My wife is from over seas and we finally got her SSN and all that stuff two months ago. I am trying to establish credit for her at this time.

I have an amex platnium and I added her SSN to the account , i read some where on the forum that amex reports that to the credit agencies and she can have my amex history...haven't seen that yet.

anyways - i will probably get her a bank credit card to start ( maybe secure if the bank doesn't agree with a regular credit card).

i'll also have her apply for some store cards ( macy's , kholes...etc)

any other suggestions to get her credit stated?
