Question...

Canceling a non-refundable ticket, JAX-ATL-FCO-CTA/CTA-FCO-ATL-JAX, N-fare (I think), due to unforeseen circumstances. It's not all a lost cause, as I'll be booking the same flights again, probably in 2014.

Any advice? If I cancel, I assume I'll get a voucher...will there be a fee with rebooking at a later date? Does the voucher expire? How do I work canceling to my advantage? (Not trying to get something for nothing. Just wondering where I should go from here.)

Unfortunately, my ticket is in Italian & so are the policies regarding rescheduling/rebooking, etc.
