I think its a good thing, the indian market is so extremely price sensitive, but at the same time demands luxuries and other goods.
Now they can make the choice of what they want, so those who need cheap tickets get just that, but us who at times need some more can purchase that at good prices.
Airlines need to run a buisness and when the market is not willing to pay for the luxuries they should not get it. Same as is what is happening in Europe with Ryanair.
Many people are complaining, but they still fly them, and with that say to them the most important factor is price.
The problem is that instead of unbundling fairly and charging customers for the services they want, LCC airlines are simply going to take away those services they provided for free (I guess the only service they still provide free is 20 kgs luggage allowance and hand baggage) and start charging for them, while the fares won't drop a dime.. So now we will be paying the same fares for no a 0 luggage allowance ticket..
