Thanks to both of you for your responses - that was my understanding also having trawled through the FAQs (including the point about all EK metal / QF codeshare on EK metal).

One thing to note is that this will actually be a redemption booking using my BA FF miles so the BA website won't throw up an all EK metal / QF codeshare on EK for a redemption booking so should all be good in that regard
