Z/P fares tend to have long advance purchase requirement 60, 50, 30 days ... as those fares become not available the effective purchase price rises. Sometime there is also a 10 day or less Z fare. So you need to know the AP from your target Z/P fare.
Don't expect cheaper Z as time progresses.
