eStandby Upgrade to assure King bed?
Wife and I just booked a total of 5 nights using AXON + points+$$ awards in late Feb 2014. Only room available for standard award is 2 TWIN BEDS CITY VIEW, we would like to sleep in a King bed.

As a Diamond, what are the chances of getting an upgrade to a room with a king bed? The eStandby Upgrade menu shows a total of 5 different 2 Double Bed options before 1 King 1 Bedroom Suite, at $119 per night (versus the normal $160). If necessary, I am willing to pay a small premium for a King Bed (don't need a suite), as a last resort. Am I better off waiting until check in, negotiate with the front desk if they are unwilling / unable to upgrade?
