serfty. This may help the OP as well. Do you mean that in a codeshare booking, there will
always be a PNR for the metal operator (in this case QF) and the flight number airline (in this case AA)?
If so:
* Are they both always generated, or is (in this case) the QF one only generated on request?
* If both airlines use the same booking engine, will there or can there be 2 PNRs?
I have friends about to be in a similar situation. Looking to reserve seats on a QF metal flight, on AY code share.
