Just curious as to what would happen in the event of an equip swap to an XM aircraft? I would suspect we'd end up in economy, with a refund of the Comfort Plus fee. I'm hoping in this case there would be a way to LMU, or (I know it's highly unlikely, but) they just keep our seat assignments, and we end up in EF.
The reason I'm thinking about the equipment swap, is that Rouge takes over the route 3 days later, and I imagine this is one of the birds going over.
Thoughts on what may/may not happen, and what the best way to ensure at least one of my traveling party ends up in EF in the event of a swap?
I would keep close tabs on the seating within the 24 hour period of on-line check in. It happened twice on my flights to BCN last Summer - (Non XM > XM). If I recall correctly, all 24 customers who were booked in Comfort Plus were simply accommodated in the 24 seats in XF with a maintained Economy level of Service.
