My favorite is to go to a Shangai local bathhouse. Start with a Japanese-style public bath (men only) where you soak, shave, shower and such. Then put on ridiculous flower-print "pajamas" (largest size is barely big enough) and go to the public area for my haircut with my favorite barber. He thinks I'm a college professor and always gives me a great greeting.

Then upstairs to the chaise lounge area where I get a foot massage followed by getting my toenails cut. (They use ultra-sharp steel chisels to cut each nail in one side-to-side cut)

Finally have fresh fruit and drinks, take a shower and leave feelng all pink and warm.
