I've stayed here twice in the past 3 weeks as a no-status member on a Plat Trial. In both cases, they gave me a nice King room facing the lake on a high floor. This is very similar treatment to me that I've been getting at Marriotts as a Gold.

Internet was lightning fast. Enough to stream video without a hiccup.

The Staff was quite nice and treated me very well. They were a bit busy so I had to wait for service a few times but nothing worth fretting over.

The only negative is one I know they can't control: Parking.

If you want to valet, it's $40. If not and you want self park, it's a block away in a covered garage so that trek to the parking garage is something to take note of. It's still $30.

As far as location, most of the restaurants I like are within 3-4 blocks of this place so it's convenient to me when I want to walk out to grab a bite.

As long as it remains priced right ($200-$250) a night, I'm sticking with this hotel downtown.
