Booked 8F...had a crying baby behind me, it was terrible but lucky me 5A was free so i moved there

J was around 70% full and Y was much less

A couple of things i'm here to report back:

1. If you do OLCI and only have carry on, you can do the security check at a designated desk for that. it's just in front of the place they scan the barcode on your passport. no line when i visited

2. the receptionist at Dan+ said you don't need an invitation to get in (i got one from the BA check-in desk). if your ticket shows your gold etc. then that is enough. i did use an invite, and don't understand why they use the invite system if you just need a ticket...
