The pilot or FA gets on the PA, explains the situation, offer anyone who's gotta problem that they're welcome to leave, then flight proceeds to destination. Problem solved. Yeah, it doesn't solve the embarrassment factor for the young man, but it's a heckuva better scenario than being removed from the plane while everyone watches. I think most people would understand...we've all sat through flights with screaming babies...I'd think this would be a lot better than that as long as other pax were "in the loop."
