Since this has to do with luggage and international travel, permit me to ask this question here and not start a new post.

This is in regards to how luggage is transferred to connecting flight. Let's use Las Vegas, Detroit and Paris as examples and have a 70 minute connection time in Detroit.

Do they load they luggage in Vegas so that the ones that have short connection times in Detroit come off first?
