Do you have any details on that? All posts here have said only that PreCheck is rarely available on domestic legs of arriving international itins. OTOH, I'm 100% with PreCheck on the domestic legs of departing international itins.
As someone that literally just tried it a couple of days ago, it does NOT work. TSA agent told me it *sometimes* work if you ask AA to print you a new boarding pass, which I did, still nada.
