It was not a joke and the use of the word muzzle was a poor choice, sorry about that. Perhaps something like an athletic mouth guard that muffles enunciation so it's more of just noise instead of the word "bomb". The intent of my post was trying to think of an acceptable manor of dealing with the situation to avoid those people who cast cruel and unfair judgement or do not think rationally. Being loud or disruptive is different than yelling out bomb, it may not seem like it but it's a fine line. It's disappointing to see that despite the man clearing all security and providing a letter that the pilot didn't trust the occupants or himself to handle the situation appropriately but it seems like many people who fly are still fearful of irrational things. The recent events in the news don't help that situation either.
