Sad to hear such a thing occurred, but I think documentation was enough to understand the situation,that pilot was thinking of the many not the few and passed this on to another flight.

I would figure in this day & age everyone would understand such a uncontrollable action and just accept them as being a infant that can't stop crying.

Most passengers seem to not care and have no compassion for another human.

Pass out the headphones people and enjoy the flight,it will be over in a few hours.
