Looks like you stumbled upon a very rare condition in the backend, where the search is duplicated and performed twice, hence why the point usage doubled.

I looked at your search history for the last 60 days and I see that you have two searches affected. You were charged an extra 6 points in one and an extra 1 point in another.

I credited the points back to your account. I also added another 50 points for your trouble.
