I won't have checked bags, and have Global Entry. Considering this, do you think it will be an issue to make my ex-ORD domestic AA connection?

Thanks in advance.
I've just done this and smooth sailing for me. The only few barriers that might slow you down are:

1) CX flight late coming in (rarely, of the numerous time I flew this route CX was only late once for 30 minutes.)

2) Your luggage might now come out as speedy as you would like (I always have F-tag but last time my luggage didn't come out till the very end, was nervous for a sec. as I am rushing for time)

3) The AA terminal 3, security line, they are notoriously bad. Avoid the security checkpoint in the middle of the terminal, there is always a good 15-20 min. wait. Go to the security check-point towards the end of the terminal, always much faster there.

but overall, if CX arrives on-line, bags come out in timely matter, T-3 security line within reason (10-15 min.) you are fine.

If you are OW-EM, don't forget there is AA Flagship Lounge at T-3, but depending which gate you are it may be far from your gate, so check first.
