I think it's unfair to constantly bash Kingfisher to what they have done. For the record, I think it's disgusting the way Kingfisher behaved but let's face it, every aircraft nerd in India and the rest of the world knew what was going on with these planes when we started seeing them parked up all around India about 3 years ago. It is the leasing companies fault for not staying on top. They should have repossessed them the first sign of breach of contract and I'm sure that nicking parts of a plane owned by A to service another owned by B is theft.
Let's put it another way, say for example that you purchase a house/flat purely to let out and your new tenants start abusing and stealing the fixtures. You are not going to sit around and do nothing until they default. You would be moving heaven and earth to ensure your investment does not go down the toilet.
I think it's one big scam.
