We did my "last Caravelle seen flying" a little while ago, so I'll just add my last comparable DC10 (passenger flight anyway) to this. It was only a few years ago, walking along the River Thames Embankment one summer evening, that the Biman DC10, inbound from Dhaka and Dubai, drifted overhead us, turning for Heathrow. Made you realise how far back the DC10s wings were set. It was a few hours late, which was actually quite good for Biman, who were long-renowned for turning up in London 24 hours late or more, to the extent that Heathrow started moves to exclude them on the grounds of the disruption so caused, and the UK government had to intervene as it started to become a diplomatic issue of Rich Country against Poor Country.
