Interesting; I would like to hear more about this part. I hope they're not preventing southeast Asia-U.S. routes via Europe from going through Japan or Korea (or vice-versa), since it adds a lot to the mileage. (E.g., BKK-ICN-FRA is more than 2,000 miles greater than BKK-FRA.) I hope they're not doing this; but is there any maximum-permitted-mileage on such an award??
