And yes, its that easy (assuming the door was open) - a bit more complicated with checked luggage - but still doable.
Anyway, we can agree to disagree. By looking at how much you've flown this year so far and for your travel purposes i'm sure you've a lot more time on your hands than I to think of all the possibilities to make this a better outcome.
