Is this because I'm using the "Multiple" destination feature on the site? Do I need to do dummie bookings on just the "round trip" feature of the site to determine the seat map?

Unfortunately I only fly AF once a year (only since last year), so I'm very newbie for using AF site. I do most of my flying with UAL, where the seat map & choosing occurs before payment, and possibly very easy to find on UAL site.

Thanks

It's definitely before payment (so I don't know why you are encountering this pb), but you can return anytime after payment to the seat map to change seats. I don't think you'll have pbs to have the seats you want in PV in sept. Keep in mind that you won't be able to have a seat map and select seats for the European flights (no advance selection except in C).
