As posted just upthread, K6 is the airline code just as you might use AA or UA etc.

As for the taxes, they are not included in the initial price. Instead that only covers the ticket while taxes and fees are listed separately and later. That's quite normal for Asia in my experience.

There is nothing screwey nor 'US taxes' that you're being assessed.
