KAL awards are usually pretty much in line with when Delta is available. Sometimes it takes a little searching to find them. And one of the interesting things that seems to be happening is that you have to search over the route that KAL flies, ie LAX - ICN and not SLC-LAX-ICN. Then if you do find a KAL route available with no DL segments that it will be in the lowest catagory of miles for the destination and class. So right now you could be looking for a KAL flight in March, 2014. While it takes some searching you can find them on the website, but in some ways just calling is the easiest if you get a knowledgable reservation agent.
