Global entry program-processing time?

Had my interview today at JFK. Overheard a CBP Officer telling someone that they take walk-ins, and when I looked on the list of people my interviewer had already interviewed, 4 of about 25 were walk-ins. If any of you guys are in a rush and can get to JFK, you'll be able to be seen same day.
