Agree with all that it was good for the hotel to give notice here on something beyond their control.

However, I have trips where head East for a day for a meeting or something and do my best to stay on home (Pacific) time. Having to get up at 430 my time to get a shower in if I have an 11 am or noon meeting scheduled (ET)and am then planning on flying home would be a major inconvenience and disruption to my sleep schedule.

It's the same complaint I have about breakfasts that end at 9am. Fine if you live in the eastern or central time zones, but damned inconvenient if you're on mountain or pacific time and trying to stay on that time during a short trip.

While the hotel did a great job giving notice, it should have offered to re-accommodate guests for whom this would not work out.
