Hi All,

Even though I have flown many times over the past few years, most of those trips were short haul and various airlines. I have never bothered joining any frequent flyer program until now.
We have 3 Australia-Europe return trips coming up in the next 10 months or so and Singapore Airlines will be our preferred airline. I am definitely going to join Krisflyer but I have a few questions. If I buy tickets for my family of 4 (all adults), do all miles get credited to my account or do we all have to join? If it's the latter can we gift the miles to each other if there are only 2 people travelling on a subsequent trip? I have already booked airfares for a short holiday in Singapore, can I get those miles credited to my Krisflyer number even if I join today? (not flying until August).

Sorry for such stupid questions, any help will be much appreciated.
